A Space That Supports a Personal Approach to Transitional Care
Establishing a Sense of Familiarity
To create a sense of familiarity and give the Skilled Nursing care facility a ‘non-clinical’ contemporary aesthetic, the exterior architecture takes cues from building styles in the surrounding community. Resident comfort and privacy were a leading concern that Reztark addressed by locating satellite nursing stations closer to the resident rooms. Building a center focused on the needs of the residents increased satisfaction in care for both residents and their families.
