Ian Ramous

Project Director | Architect

As a Project Architect, Ian Ramous manages the process from design through implementation ensuring that the original design concept and intent are translated to the built environment. Relying on his experience completing projects on a tight timeframe, Ian acts as a guiding force throughout the development of the project.

What did you want to be when you were a kid?

First a brain surgeon, then an Egyptologist, and then an architect

What parts of your profession are you most passionate about?

1. Bridging the gap between design intent and the actual built project—often times there is a disconnect between the designers intent and how things actually end up. I enjoy working to ensure the design intent is kept and able to be translated to the built environment. This comes in play a lot on new prototype projects where the prototype is often designed by a different firm than the one doing the construction documents.
2. Teaching and mentoring younger architects and professionals.
