Elizabeth Lucas

Senior Designer

With an artistic eye and a strategic approach, Liz excels at designing crafted experiences in the built environment that are multi-faceted and memorable. While playing many design roles she is always looking for new ways to connect people with the brands they love through engaging design — design that evokes emotion, sparks a conversation and tells a story.

What did you want to be when you were a kid?

I remember in elementary school we had to research a career and interview someone in the field and I chose Interior Design – it was meant to be!

Where do you draw inspiration?

My husband Elliot is also a designer and an artist and his unique creative expression is always inspiring me to think and create in new ways. I am always inspired by nature and the beauty you can find in the every day.

What is your favorite thing about working at Reztark?

The great people, the diverse and interesting work, working with local clients, Wednesday morning office yoga and adorable office dogs 😊

If you weren’t in your current field, what job would you have instead?

Experiential Event Designer – I love connecting people together through design and bringing brands to life in the built environment, so it would be interesting to do that in a more temporary way through immersive events & experiences.

Is there anything unusual or interesting that you want to share about yourself?

I come from a big family – I am the middle child of 7 kids and I am now an aunt to 7 nieces and nephews.

Do you have pets? What are they and what are their names?

We have 2 cats named Conan and Sophie. Conan is my buddy, he only has 3 legs but gets around very well. He is the friendliest cat you’ll ever meet and he’s also very fat & fluffy!

What are your hobbies or special skills?

I am currently learning to sew, hopefully I can someday make some of my own clothes! I love trying new Fitness classes like Barre, Dance, Yoga and Running races. I love to Travel and Explore new places.

Coffee or Tea?

Coffee but not in the afternoon or I will be awake all night!
